Before you begin to blow trumpets and pop the champagne, please understand that the indictment was dismissed because this woman had immunity on the day that the it was made. The fact still remains that she lied about the helps salary and status on the visa application and that prosecutors will still go ahead and file a new indictment as she no longer enjoys immunity. Please note that the charges against her were not dismissed. Those still remain and hopefully she will be convicted and arrested if she ever sets foot in the US again. Meanwhile, the Indian government needs to act against her for many reasons: 1. Possessing properties disproportionate to her known sources of income. 2. Falsely declaring the value of her properties to her employer. 3. Lying to her employer about her childrens dual citizenship status. 4. Bringing the country to disrepute by flouting laws in the country where she was supposed to present Indias best side. 5. Being part of the Adarsh building scam.
