The country has earned the distinction of celebrating the worlds longest Christmas season,[1] with Christmas carols heard as early as September and lasting variously until either Epiphany, the Feast of the Black Nazarene on 9 January, or the Feast of the Santo Niño de Cebú on the third Sunday of January.
