Beginning our days with a cup of tea in a house full of luxuries. A comfy bed to sleep on and a hundred dishes to eat from. In the chaos of our daily lives we forget that somewhere a child cries because his parents have just died. Hearts filled with terror because they dont know if they would survive or how long are their lives. Then from somewhere, comes a cry: How can you just let this Ummah die? The Ummah is suffering, crying and dying. And here youre asking WHY? Because these were the people who stood up! To fight for their faith and honor of Islam. And here we are still wondering what to do. We are THE BEST of nations so lets just make this true. We are the Ummah of Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) who cried for us even before we were born! My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful. [Ibrahim: 36] The Prophet (SAW) recited this verse and said: “O Allaah, my ummah, my ummah.” Allaah said: “O Jibreel, go to Muhammad, although your Lord knows best, and ask him why he is weeping.” So Jibreel went to him and asked him, and the Messenger of Allaah (SAW) told him what he said, although He knows best. Allaah said: “O Jibreel, go to Muhammad and say: “I will make you pleased concerning your ummah and not displeased.” Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas in Sahih Muslim (202). This is our time to rise and UNITE! This is the time to utilize our skills and stand up for our Ummah. Lets learn how exactly we can play our part with Youth Clubs theme for the next 6 weeks [Aug 1st till Sep 14th]. Lets promise to implement what we learn and lets take the responsibility for the Muslim Ummah, our family, which is an inseparable part of us. Use the hash-tag #MyUmmah and make the posts public.
