An in-depth look at the psychology of a Star Ship leader -- Commodore Matt Decker (brilliantly portrayed by the late Actor William Windom) and the guilt he has over the loss of his entire crew to an Artificial Intelligent driven Planet Killing Machine. In todays world of 2014 -- our Stock Market is run by Artificial Intelligence. Much like the Planet Killer -- or Doomsday Machine -- our financial system can run a- muck if not kept in check. Machines control our currency flow. A glitch, aberration, or mis-applied algorithm in the programming can cause our Financial Markets to Crash -- again -- like on Monday, 15 September 2008. Im not making this statement to cause panic or to be melodramatic, rather to point out he parallel of the above episode of what happens when Technology goes awry. Its apparent that Im a fan of Technology; however, I also realize that any technology that is devoid of any safeguards (which doesnt have a *checks & balance*) is a train-wreck waiting to happen. Empathy... the ability to see in another person our own interest... is a Program that Id gladly welcome into any Artificial Intelligence device. END Commentary
