Behold Bohol Posted on November 10, 2014 by Timothy Walker Video Courtesy by: Liquid Pixel The province of Bohol has officially launched their “Visit Bohol 2015” tourism campaign which aims to revive the province’s tourism a year after a powerful earthquake devastated the island. The 2015 tourism launch coincided with the 118th anniversary of President Carlos P Garcia, Bohol’s very own “Most Illustrious Son.” Edgar Chatto, Bohol’s Governor – said in a speech that they are “optimistic that these new strategies would spur growth in the tourism industry in Bohol, especially as they benefit from the considerable share of tourist influx this coming year, and beyond.” He also added that through this campaign, Bohol “will be known not only as a ‘must visit’ island destination, but also be included in the ‘must return’ list among travelers.”
