Behold I AM the LORD – Is There Anything Too Hard for Me? Posted on September 21, 2013 by Jim Hughes Behold I AM the LORD – Is There Anything Too Hard for Me? Is there anything too hard for the LORD God? We have a tendency to put our God in a box or a glass jar and put the lid upon it. We limit God by our beliefs. We fail to remember that the LORD God is the one who created the heavens and earth by the power of his spoken word. The LORD God is the one who puts food on our tables, keeps us in clothing, puts a roof over our heads, feeds our children, fills us with blessings and mercies wide and deep. We limit God. Jeremiah 32:17 (KJV) Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV) Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? But in this passage the nation of Judah is about to fall and Jeremiah is concerned about passing land and property to his distant family. The kingdom is about fall and Jeremiah has his doubts, but the LORD God takes care of his situation. God has him buy and bury the evidence that the land and the vineyards belong to them in an earthen vessel so that they will have it after judgment comes to the kingdom. If we will exercise our faith and draw near to God, God will look out for us in ways we can’t begin to understand. This is the God who plagued Egypt until the Pharaoh let the people go. This is the LORD God that divided the Red Sea for his people. This is the LORD God who gave manna to the people on the way to the Promise Land for 40 years. During this same 40 years, the LORD God did not let the clothes or shoes run out. This is the LORD God who gave them clouds by day and fire by night to guide their steps. This is the LORD God that made King Solomon so wise and wealthy. This is the LORD God who send Gideon out with just 300 because 10,000 would not show God’s power against a mighty enemy. This is the LORD God that controls lives. This is the LORD God who answers prayers. This is the LORD God who builds church houses. This is the LORD God who gives bus ministries. This is the LORD God who gives us music and the people to play it for us. This is the LORD God who gives us teachers and pastors. This is the LORD God who heals the sick. This is the LORD God who saves our souls. This is the LORD God who keeps his promises. This is the LORD God who has given us the BOOK called the BIBLE and kept throughout the ages for us. We have faith in computers. We have faith in cars. We have faith in men. We have faith in doctors. We have faith in lawyers. We have faith in spouses. Yet we have doubts with this God. We need faith in the LORD God. We need to trust the LORD God. We need to turn away from physical things and turn to the living God. He is real. He is true. Trust in him, before it is too late. Father God. Help us to have more faith in you as the LORD God of this Universe. Help us to see what you have for us. Help us to put our trust in the LORD God. Help the ones who need this message and help them to understand it. Father God, I ask you blessing on those who are suffering and dying. HELP THEM. Help us to find the right church for us. Help us to grow up in the LORD God and your amazing truths. Thank you for the Blood of Jesus Christ and thank you for raising him from the dead. In Jesus Name. Amen.
