Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy; no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:16-17 ESV) The Lord is telling us to listen up, to grasp this concept, to wrap our minds around what He is about to make known to us because it good! And it is oh so good! Our Creator God fashioned the ravager who desires to use his knowledge to destroy rather than using it for good. Work for The Lord is hard! We become like sandpaper to many, fanatics to others, and many just hate us for our beliefs. This passage gives us the assurance that no evil scheme formed to hurt us will succeed when we are doing the Lords work! Not even the hurtful words go unnoticed by The Lord. The mouths of the haters will be closed. Now I know that has many of you smiling this morning! Notice also that The Lord shall vindicate His own, vengeance is not our own! God is the Righteous Judge and the judgement He hands down will be so much better than anything we could ever think or imagine. So for now, take comfort in knowing that God sees your struggles, He knows who is attacking you, and He will not let them succeed if you are a servant of the Most High God! God, I love You so much! Thank You for loving us, for protecting us, for vindicating us! These verses give such comfort today. Help us claim the promises as our own and know You will be here for us through the good and the bad. Youve proven that so many times in our lives. May our lives be a living testimony of us telling others about Your great love, grace, mercy, and faithfulness lavished on our lives. Open our eyes to those You place in our path that need You! We give You all honor and glory and praise! You are so very worthy!!!!
