Behold! Know the enemy of freethinking progress! I know its a little dated but I had trouble keeping my food down to that mans ridiculous speeches. Im trying to buildup enough tolerance to be able to discuss and debate like the great atheist speakers we know and love (Hitchens, Harris, Dawkins, Maher, etc). So far heres a list of all the things I wanted to rebut to his tirade: 1. Accepting Evolution as a fact and Atheism are not mutually exclusive to one another. 2. Humans are not descended from apes. We are cousins from a common ancestor evolved through mutations and passing on those genes. THATS WHY MONKEYS AND APES STILL EXIST. 3. Theres plenty of fossil records that describe and support evolution. Theres not just one missing link its a series of intermediate species spread throughout millions of generations. 4. Human comes from dead skin cells that harden to form a protein called keratin that comes out from the scalp and skin. Keratin also makes up human fingernails and toenails. It doesnt come from god. 5. Proclaiming a deity puts one in the position of the burden of proof. Atheism is a stand to deny such proclamations especially without substantial proof. Even if there was a man called Jesus in the Roman Empires records. It doesnt mean he was a god. I could go on... but its just too exhausting. Also he keeps replaying small clips of replays to knock them down and act proud much like an ape. We should make a regular mock debate so we can equip ourselves with immediate counters for vacuous crap that is currently thrown our way.
