Being A Father...I ask myself if I have been a good father to my girls. I think I have, I mean they love me and I still have a wonderful relationship with them. Yet, still I tend to ask myself that same nagging question Have I Been A Good Father ?. I know at times some decisions that I have made may have have not been the right ones. There were times that I could have been a stronger and more disciplined man for myself and my girls. There are days that I recall not feeling like I provided enough to give them everything I could, days that maybe I should have been home instead of some foreign land. And days that my dreams were shattered by unforeseen challenges and by some of my impulsive choices. Yet I look around at all these Dads, Fathers and Daddys that in many ways probably are asking themselves that same question. And In Asking myself this question. I realize some neat and inspiring experiences of being a Father, and its amazing blessings and wonderful chapters. During my Fatherhood I have been a carousel, A Superman, I have made sand castles, been a lifeguard, played with Barbies, painted my nails, gotten ponytails...I have been the The Mighty Giant, I have been a Superstar, a race car driver, an Actor and An Opera Singer, Ive even been A Rap Daddy (My Rap Name PapiGuapo haha..) I have been a storyteller,I have been firm, at times a referee and a disciplinarian, a teacher and a coach and cheerleader...Many days I have been a Shoulder to Cry On, a reassuring voice, I have been strength and courage. I have been comfort and serenity, I have been hope and love. But most of all I Am who I Am...A Dad...A Father who loves his children with everything within him. And always will...So why ask myself Have I Been A Good Father? I can see it in my Daughters eyes, in their being, I can hear it their voices and feel it in in my heart and soul...I Have been a Wonderful And Inspiring Dad...just like you dads out there, we are not perfect and we will never be...But we are what we are, loving, caring and at times confused men called Dads. Have a wonderful Fathers Day All...I Love You My Drea (Andrea Nileen) and My Gabby (Elizabeth Gabrielle) and you too Mi Soppapillita (Sophia Emma my Baby Grandaughter). Hugggssss...Sonny (Daddy)
