Being EMPOWERED does not mean that you dont have any problems, your life is perfect and you have it all together. Being empowered means you HANDLE your problems WITH POWER. It means being emotionally fit and able to face, deal and OVERCOME your challenges. It means being so rooted in the Spirit of God that NOTHING can shake you. It means having good decision making skills and the ability to discern and listen. It means being a VICTOR and not a VICTIM. It means finding a way when there seems to be no way. It means being calm in the midst of confusion. It means weathering the storms while preparing for the next season. THAT is EMPOWERMENT. If you think otherwise... You are sadly mistaken. My journey has been one of struggle, tests, obstacles and lots of growing pains. Not one of quick success, easy riches and pure perfection. A lot of people get it confused. I am an example of someone who NEVER GAVE UP. Not someone who has had it easy. So as you watch me, follow me and look to me for inspiration, know that I am JUST LIKE YOU. What separates me from others are my CHOICES and my COMMITMENT to being an EMPOWERED woman. Take heed...
