Being Easter week, wed like to share with you a delicious traditional Easter Recipe of Kwarezimal. These are the secret ingredients which David Calleja, Executive Pastry Chef at The Westin Malta uses to create these delicious treats: 500g ground almonds 400g brown sugar 100g castor sugar 150g flour 25g anisette 4 egg whites 25g orange blossom water 5g mixed spice 22g cocoa powder 1grated tangerine 1grated orange Put all dry ingredients together slowly add the egg white until forms a firm paste Shape into small sausages and flat a bit down with your hand bake at 180C for 15 minutes Take out from the oven brush with honey and sprinkle with roughly chopped almonds And then bake for another 5 minutes. #Easter #Recipe #Maltesedishes #Kwarezimal #westin #malta
