~ Being a Christian isnt about where you go to church, how often you go to church, how much you know the bible, what ministry you belong to, how many groups you belong to, how well behaved you are, what good you feel, how pretty you sing, how you worship, what giftings you have. Being a Christian is ALL about your relationship to the Lord and LIFE in the SPIRIT. When we become a believer by confessing Jesus and believing in our hearts He is who He says He is, we receive the Holy Spirit - the same Spirit and power that raised Jesus from the grave. This Spirit through the process of sanctification purifies us in our walk. He removes our unrighteousness and strips away the flesh so that we can become an earthen vessel of the risen Christ. The more we pray and surrender to the Spirit, the more we read His word, the more He can work by renewing our mind - giving us the mind of Christ and transforming our lives into the image of Jesus. The LESS of me - the MORE of JESUS in my life. He calls us EACH - every believer to become ambassadors of HIM so that HE may CONTINUE the work, the ministry HE began when He walked in the earth. Jesus PROVED how much He loves us by dying on the cross for us. He PROVED life eternal by His resurrection and ascension into Heaven. He STILL intercedes for the lost of the world in and through us. He STILL carries the Gospel of Love and Peace and salvation unto men in and through us now - by the working power of the HOLY SPIRIT in us. He is our Teacher, our Counselor, our Wisdom, our Truth, our Light, our Pastor, our Preacher, our Priest, our Shepherd, our Healer, our Deliverer, our Father, our Brother, our Friend, our Prince, our Provider, etc. We should never put any man or woman above Him - NO other Idols. Church should be a place of fellowship - a place to worship with other believers in one accord with the Spirit - collective worship. It should be a place where the Gospel of Jesus according to His Word is being carried AND seen in our actions in how we treat others (fruits of the Spirit). It should be a place where we practice brotherly love for one another - lifting each other up and encouraging the relationship with the Spirit and life in the Spirit with our WORDS. It should be a place the lost can come in and receive Jesus forgiveness, grace and mercy unto salvation no matter what lifestyle they come from. A place free from judgment, condemnation, shame, guilt and pride. The leaders should encourage the ministry in each believer and life in the Word and Spirit. A place where we can be accountable to each other and correct/rebuke in a Spirit of Love. A place where we can pray in one accord with the Spirit. A place where we can train up the next generation of believers and TEACH them about Jesus and life in the Spirit. A place for widows (single parents too) and orphans (lacking of one or both parents AND the rejected of the world) can come to find rest, strength and provision. A place that gives to the community needs in HUMBLE service. A place where the Holy Spirit has the right of way and not limited to demonstrate His power - healings, deliverances, prophecies, signs and wonders. A place of decency and order according to His word. WE in ourselves cannot create the Perfect Church but the Spirit within us (Who is PERFECT LOVE) can if we each do our part to surrender to His divine will for us according to His Word. WE are the church, WE are the temple, WE are His Bride, WE are His body - JESUS is the Head! Its time for a change - He is calling us to FREEDOM - to Heaven in the Earth - to walk in Heavenly Places now by letting the Spirit of Christ resurrect us to be the LIGHT that shines before all men! Lets answer our call Christians!!! Our GROOM is waiting!!! Its ALL about JESUS!!!! FOLLOW HIM! Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. AND p.s. - the enemy CANT stop it because GREATER is HE who is IN US than he that is in the world!!! And JESUS already defeated the enemy at the cross!!
