Being a chef and a serious foodie, Im always looking for an excuse to eat good food. Well, yesterday at dodgeball, I got hungry! (No surprise). So, I decided to whip up some lemon infused, fresh raspberry-almond scones. Dusted off with some turbinado sugar for luster and crunch. Also, to keep the almond theme, Im going to glaze them off, once they cool, with a Disaronno glaze and sweetened almond paste. Since there is no I in Team, Im doing a few dozen so I can share with my team next game. Now its off to the oven to bake these guys.
