Being a graphic designer who handles a lot of the scenes artwork and promotional material, Im constantly seeing promising signs that the hardcore scene is evolving in more positive ways. Im seeing once small pub events move to bigger clubs and put on stronger lineups. Im also seeing talented Nubreed artists being booked outside of their local areas and given opportunities to play bigger and better sets across the UK. The image of Hardcore is also changing, logos and flyers are moving towards a more professional and cleaner look, promotors are having websites built to expand their virtual presence and artists are taking pride in their mixes by accompanying their sound with eye catching artwork. I have more promotors ordering larger amounts of printed media, flyers, posters and banners which means promotors are pumping money into the scene and contributing towards its growth. I see promotional crews representing with T-Shirts, hats and hoodies as well as orders from ravers promoting the brands they love... Im seeing more than just a genre of music... Im seeing a collective of people who are once again truly passionate about the UK Hardcore scene. #ProudToBeHardcore
