Being a male and going into nursing school is going to be an interesting journey. Since men are the minority in that field, at times I may be the only guy in my class. While the ladies talk about their boyfriends and their Victoria Secret trips, Ill be like, So, I read this awesome theology book the other day... I wear my Batman pjs and eat pizza rolls, while my wife yells at me to take out the trash. Oh, and Ill be that married, late 20s guy in there who just figured out what to do as a career, while there are fresh high school graduates who still live at home and dont have to work. Theyll complain about Dad shutting off their cell phone because they wont work to pay for it and Ill show them my $20,000+ student loans, a $830 rent receipt, and my pretty wife and pugs that makes the sacrifice worth it.
