Being a parent is a 25 - hour per day and 8 days per week labor of love. Graduation events, birthdays, football practice, work outs, track meets, art shows, soccer practice, proms, parent-teacher conferences, dinners, washing clothes, buying clothes, buying technology, travel, discipline, chore assignments, public service activities, very deep and intellectual dialogue, building faith, creating value judgement criteria, and the list goes on. Yet, I would not trade fatherhood for the world! Thank you to my man, Brian Morris, for the inspirational text he sent me this evening. I especially thank the ALMIGHTY for allowing me to be a caretaker for his precious creations! James Marrow and Justin Michael have blessed Monica Shuler-Marrow and me with their very being. We look forward to great things from our men. If there is a way for me to find a 26th hour and a 9th day to be there for my sons, I will find it. I shall not be denied. I love my boys and I love fatherhood. Let there be no doubt...and they make it easy.
