Being a primary caretaker of an elderly and ailing parent you need - TopicsExpress

Being a primary caretaker of an elderly and ailing parent you need to be a Dr (you have to know whats the next stage of the disease you are battling) a Pharmacist (20 different medications interacting) and sometimes a critic. I get to visit multiple places of treatments and interact with now 6 Doctors and staff and from Monroe to Little Rock. Some good and some bad. I will spend the rest of her life and or mine trying to get her the best service I can. I cannot and will not tell her to go away or find someone else to take care of her. I know that the above employers would not like their employees doing that either. We can complain whether on social media or in protests because part of me bought that right in 1970. But as the Apostle Paul said, if what I do offends then I wont do it anymore. I will put my complaints in the hands of the facilities and the physicians that need to hear it. Hopefully they will listen and can make a change and improve service. Hopefully that will lead to its survival.
