Being a small, boutique music promotions company for whom the art and the artists are much more important criteria for us than the mere money in the p&l account ( heathy though that has to be) Ill particularly proud of the small but mighty roster were currently choosing to work with. With Jos seemingly relentless momentum extending into new live territories and very enviable sales figures ( her debut album is a stone wall classic - every house hold should own it) and the addition of the spell binding Lisa P Mills from Mississippi joining our number, this is going to be one hell of a fun summer. The quiet but focused development of newer acts like lavendore rogue, Goldie Reed and devenport continues to go well, with, new/debut albums from all three in progress behind the scenes. I think our small roster has, at last count, attracted 7 British blues awards nominations this year alone. Not that I would restrict any of our artists to the term blues, in describing what they do. All our artists make their own music, real music, human music, and they all tell their own story. We feel honoured that they choose us to share their journey.
