Being able to objectively listen to someones point of view and objectively express your point of view in response without reaction is one of the challenging aspects of love. Not everyone is capable of hearing our emotional process or safely holding space for vulnerability. Not everyone is capable of understanding verbal boundaries. Where these instances apply, it is to teach us how to remain in oneself and live from a completely objective perspective. Although some may be unable to listen to our raw and vulnerable emotions, they are teaching us a powerful lesson: Even this is an expression of love.
