Being an Activist...oh how it haunts you! The other night, I was so shaken to see the Taiji turtle boat in an unrelated film. It caught me off guard and my heart broke all over again. Just now, once again, while watching another unrelated movie, I immediately recognized part of the soundtrack from The Cove! These experiences are hallmark examples of PTSD triggers...but in this case, the trauma is unending. My heart aches so much for those who will fall victim to slaughter or a Life of imprisonment and slavery! Two weeks until the massacres begin again...when will the nightmare end for dolphins and small whales who migrate past the killing shores of Japan during the killing season? Will it ever stop? I am forever committed to being a Voice for these precious souls. I just wish it werent necessary; that the horror would end...and not for myself, but for the victims. :( Dread and sorrow. No other words for it. Poor, sweet babies, brutally slain among the blood of loved ones, or suffering in captivity...we will never be silent, nor ever stop fighting for you!
