Being an American used to mean something. Today, the USA is the most prolific propaganda machine in the history of mankind. The evidence of this is the fact that 90% of Americans think we live in a Democracy, that theres hope of escaping poverty for everybody, that this is a free county, that voting in a national election counts, that we are a peaceful country, that the police in America protect and serve the public, that a militarized police force is necessary, that the military are peacekeepers, that minimum wage is fair, that real estate has the value it does, that the cost of living isnt manufactured, that wall street isnt gambling, that the Supreme Court is protecting our rights, that congress represents us, that being compassionate with the poor is communism and that fixing wealth inequality is class warfare. Propaganda is championed by good intentioned people who just dont know the truth. Most dont have the time to stand up and say, hey wait a minute, thats bullshit! Most people are too damn busy trying to eek out a living in this artificially high cost of living we call an economy. So yes, America is the most propagandized country on the planet. It didnt used to be. We have to stand our ground. This is our country. Moving is not an option. Choice of where to live is a myth. You dont have a choice. You have the illusion of choice. Without money, you are just another slave to the American economy. Dont believe me? Row to any other country with no large source of income and youll be deported right back here. There are 196 countries in the world. The US isnt even in the top 10. It wasnt always like this. Nevertheless, the hope I have isnt with the government, its with the people. We just need to hang on and keep spreading the truth and hope that more people wake up so we can change the course were on, together.
