Being an old rock n roller, I am not finding much of a connection with a lot of the rock music these days... And dont even get me started on rap... But what I am finding interesting is the connection that seems to be shaping up between classic rock and country these days... It is like some of these country artists are getting it... I even saw where the Doobies are going to release a new album in October of some of their old hits - and guess who is sitting in on quite a few of the tracks? Country artists like Zac Brown, Blake Shelton, Toby Keith, Jarrod Neimann, and Vince Gill among others... So I was sitting here today doing some BBQ, and listening to the Zac Brown station on Pandora... And I hear this song by Eric Church... A live rendition of his song, Springsteen, which I have pasted a link for below... Now, I have heard the studio version before - and it is good... But this live version had a little extra to it which really made it special... At least to me... Watch for it at about the 4 minute mark... One of the best rock anthems ever written/sung - being performed by a country artist...
