Being awake since 3:30 am, this is what i end up doing after eating a bowl of cereal; reading articles like this. This one is a very interesting article. I think he just gave me more confidence in knowing that customized parenting works. (Well, sorta). Lol.. You know, the kind of parenting that changes with time, circumstances, and situations? After all, Ethan is raised with in a family where his mother and father was raised very differently. I cannot raise him in the same method my mother raised me. (Although, it was perfect. Lets just say, i got more new stuff than my siblings had growing up because of good grades). Kids nowadays are much smarter, more eager, and parents are willing to give them choices. So, whatever method i have, hopefully it works. My goal is to raise a boy who is responsible, and not only smart, but curious with more common sense (i think children nowadays lacks this, with internet and social media). Good luck!
