Being charged with a misdemeanor!!! All because they are seen as livestock and not as a companion. Regardless that is an animal that relies on its owner to care for it. Shame on the parties responsible and shame on Elpaso county for not taking quicker action, three days after it was reported a vet was called out. This is an outrage and needs to be addressed and dealt with appropriately. No animal deserves this type of neglect and no party responsible should walk away with a slap on the wrist.
