Being in Christ, we dont go from being 100% under judgment to 80% to 60% to 40% under judgment. No, in one moment we go from 100% under judgment to 100% under full acceptance in God. How could this be? Jesus offered Himself, by the Eternal Spirit and His blood and now your conscience is clean. “There is no more consciousness of sin.” (Heb. 10:2). The things we did yesterday, are fully paid for. This answers the deepest cry in our hearts. The deepest cry in the human heart, I believe, is the desire to be enjoyed by God. We deeply long to be enjoyed by God. Even if people cant define this, its the number one drive in their heart. They’ll do anything to remove the feeling of guilt and shame. We want to get this feeling of being clean. We want the confidence that our sin is gone forever. Many people say, “Oh, when Heaven gets here, it will be gone forever.” No, beloved, you can walk in this freedom from guilt now on the earth.
