Being intentional…. I am a big believer in intentional eating. I plan my meals out, often times cooking enough food at home to last me for a week or so. The main reason is simple: if you are trying to lose weight, YOU must be the gatekeeper of what goes into your mouth. When you eat out, you are forfeiting that responsibility to someone else. Even light meals often are covered in salt and oil. It simply doesnt work. This is an article confirms this. Even as the price goes up, often the quality does not (actually, may be worse when you consider portion control).
