Being my family lineage traces back to South Africa, I am always - TopicsExpress

Being my family lineage traces back to South Africa, I am always amazed at how Africans were thrown out of their land, put into slavery which subjected my men, women and children to heinous acts. Then slave traders show up on African soil and pretend like its their land. Its funny to me. It really is. I am actually laughing while writing this post. :) LOL Im laughing not because I think slavery by any means is funny yet by how preposterous the mentality of the people (slave traders) who thought it was acceptable to steal another persons land. And then created a ripple effect that people who are not native to this land feel entitled to crave out a piece for themselves in a land thats not native to them. The justification? Well, we were here for centuries. This is now our home. Yet, how your ancestors acquired this place you call home doesnt bother you? I wonder if it would go well if Africans went and colonized England, France, ****Israel****, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Russia, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the rest of the entire European Union? I dont know if they would perceive it being nice to see their men, women and children subjected to the heinous acts that Africans had to go through. Yet, black men and women have to accept their plight, correct?! I have to inadvertently apologize for being a black woman making this sort of statement because when a black person speaks on their mistreatment we smugged by whites and unknowledgeable blacks. Of course! Now it makes sense, why the people of Kleinfontein feel entitled to a land that is not their own. It completely makes sense when when the colonist writes the encyclopedias we all read to ensure theyre not depicted as murders and thieves but to ensure there personae is shown as being an explorer. #WEMUSTSPEAK
