Being prepared for emergency situations is a major item now. The Earth is changing and humans can only hang on for the ride. The TILT of the Earth has changed. It changed with the big EarthquakeS in Chile and Japan. That change in the TILT of the Earth will change the weather big time. We are now seeing more of these changes in major weather events around the globe. With the TILT of the Earth different, that will also change the gravity of our planet. What would have missed us before, now gets drawn in. Volcanoes are the Earths pressure valves. They erupt to let off excess heat and release gasses into the air. That in turn promotes more melting of the ice caps as the atmosphere heats up more with those gases. Shore lines disappear as the water in the seas rise. The fresh water that goes into the sea will delute the salinity of the oceans. I believe there is another Ice Age coming to our planet. Plate Tectonics, Sink Holes and Earthquakes. We live on slabs of Rocks that move. I think the booms and sounds people hear, that no one can explain (sounds travels through rock), have something to do with the Earth preparing to break apart the continents again.
