Being ruthless is the key to success!!!! You can only be successful by looking after you. Really? What is success anyway? Lots of money? Power? Assets? One of the wealthiest people in the world, Warren Buffett, says that he measures his success by how many of the people he wants to love him, actually do. But that’s easy for him to say. He has lots of money. The thing is you may achieve what you want quickly by being cut throat, but what happens after? You see, life goes for a long time. What happens when things start to get difficult? Who do you turn to for help? All those people you burned? It’s doubtful they’ll come running to your aid. Think about how you operate. Most people are willing to help people that help others. Your reputation always precedes you. Most of all, it is very important to make sure you have time for that most important group of people. Your family. Family can be the most understanding of your needs. They can stand beside you and support you through the hardest of challenges. The thing is you need to make sure you keep the emotional bank accounts in balance. If you are so busy ‘succeeding’ but neglecting to give back to those people closest to you, soon you may find they are not there. All relationships require give and take. You might be getting a lot of support from those close to you but make sure you take time to share what’s really important. The biggest key to success is to have lots of support around you. You’ll only keep that if you give back to those closest to you.
