Inset 4 in. porcelain dial has black hour numbers with exposed Brocot escapement and jeweled pallets, signed with Ansonia trade mark and has black hands and brass bezel; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co., has an half hour coiled gong rack & snail strike and 2 jar mercurial pendulum. In a porcelain case having winged lions heads over claw feet on the base, scrolled sea shells on the top corners and large center finial in green, blue and yellow with gilt and floral highlights; the body of the case has gilt brass mounted corners with filigree design, beveled glasses on the doors and sides. In very good running condition, single hairline in the chapter ring. 17.5 in. high x 9 in. wide x 7.75 in. deep.
