Being the best version of You Transformation: Real People, Real Results. If Lynelles story and transformation doesnt inspire or motivate you, then what will? Lynelles journey begun back in March, when Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor Charlene Hodge was called in to get her and her co-workers started on living a more active and healthier lifestyle, take a look at her before and to date photos. What started you off on this journey? I wanted to change when I realized that my weight was spiraling out of control. My clothes were fitting tighter and tighter. I knew I needed to make a change, but did not want to go on a quick fix diet(lord knows I did many of those back in the day). I wanted to do something that when I reached my ideal goal weight I would stick with it. Doing these quick fix weight loss programs was not for me, and its true that when you lose weight, you gain it back twice as much. One day our human resources manager announced a wellness program for employes where they would bring in a trainer for 2 days out of the week. I jumped at the opportunity immediately and signed up for this program. What kept you motivated? My coworkers are my motivators. We exercise as a group, and we keep each other motivated to keep on going, even when I dont feel up to it. What have been your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment since I began is that I have lost 25lbs thus far and dropped about 2 dress sizes. What does your diet/nutrition plan look like? I dont diet. I just watch what I eat, and eat in moderation. I have one cheat day where I can eat the cake, ice cream, pizza etc. etc. its not good to cut them out completely, because when that craving kicks in you end up eating more than you need to. I also try to drink my 8 glasses of water per day. I keep my water bottle on my desk at work, and this helps a lot. When I eat from a restaurant I divide my meal in 2, and I drink diet sodas and juice only about 2 times in a week. What other goals did you set for yourself? My goal weight is to be190 lbs.(wishful thinking) and to be leaner and stronger. What would you like to say to others? So you see, the difference between the impossible and the possible, lies in your determination. I was determined to do this and I did. Good luck with your journey!
