Being the retired old biddy with nothing better to do with my time, I recently wrote to the Royal Mail to complain. Complaining is a cherished pastime of mine. In order to improve our service we now have 2 posties who I might add have made a difference for the better. However, the said posties come in two vehicles both park on the Pavement outside my home. They blocked the footpath so people had to walk in the road and double parked with a neighbour. The noise of banging doors and rattling trolleys also irritating. Within 4 days of complaining the problem ceased and today I got a letter from Royal Mail outlining action taken. Pays off to speak up and not put up. Although my cynical, suspicious self tells me to wait for the dog shit falling through my letter box.
