Being unable to imagine anything better for themselves, Modern Christians remain content to languish in a state of spiritual welfare. And assembled in their fearful groups, they must be constantly replenished to survive. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. This gathering together for comfort, fellowship, and strength, is much like the lemmings march to the sea. If you are trusting in a gaggle of feathered friends, you are heading for the cliff, along with the rest. For even if Noah, Job, and Daniel were at your church next Sunday, they could save none but themselves. Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
