Belgian Stout Recipe: 6 lb 8 oz Pilsner Malt 2 lb 8 oz 2 Row Malt 1 lb 6 oz Roasted Barley 1 lb 3 oz Flaked Oats 11 oz Munich Malt 20 12 oz White Wheat Malt 11 oz Special B 7 oz Chocolate Malt 3.5 oz Black Patent Malt 1 oz Palisade, 60 min 0.5 oz Fuggles, 15 Min 1 lb Dark Candi Sugar, 15 min Wyeast #1762, Belgian Abby II OG: 1.080 Est FG: 1.013 IBU: 27.2 Est ABV: 9.0% I simplified the bittering hops, and reduced the grain bill. It is not a cheap recipe, and is not a simple grain bill - but belgian stout it is! Feel free to comment on the recipe, or if all are good with it then we are good to go. As for dates, Im proposing Saturday May 31st (4:30 pm onwards). If everyone could please get a carboy (with airlock) or keg to me by the weekend of the 24/25 Id appreciate it and I will have them pre-filled for everyone (please sanitize and seal them for me!).
