Believe this a lot!. Bloodcuurdling confections for the newly divorced.. It’s the latest craze coming to bakers near you: ‘just divorced’ cakes.. These blood-curdling confections would not be out of place in a Chamber of Horros but they are being made to ‘celebrate’ the end of a marriage. Gone are the days when divorce was a soure of shame. Now it’s kick ‘em out and start all over again.. and it seems it is women who are doing most of the celebrating. Many of these sugar dainties feature wives wielding knives in gory post-nuptial sense where the man is often missing either his head or his wedding tackle. Others shown them being pushed over cliffs, being shot or even being buried in the back garden with a wife sitting happily on the turf adding a bag of fertilizer to the makeshift graves. Like so many other trends, this one started in America – but bakers are reporting an upsurge in requests from British divorcees keen to wash their man right out of their hair.
