Believers Breakfast THURSDAY: BLESS THE LORD Psalms 103:1-4 “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;” The lesser cannot bless the greater. God is already blessed. We cannot add to His blessedness. When He blesses us He gives what you and I never had. When we bless him it is an expression of gratitude, praising Him, extolling Him, desiring all honour for Him, ascribing all good to Him, magnifying His Holy Name. He needs nothing at our hands-Psalms 50:10-15 “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Let’s join this day and worship the all sufficient God!
