Beloved! Christ in you, the hope of glory! Praise The Lord! Hallelujah! Glory to God!! The truth of the matter is this! For Christ to continue indwelling us, our bodies which is the temple of God must undergo regular maintenance work, so that the God will continue to make His home with and in us. Our bodies (the temple of God) requires regular cleansing, purifying and sanctifying. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only one that can redeem us from sin and continuously refurbish, cleanse and maintain the temple of God (our bodies) so that the God will continue to live in us comfortably. It is very obvious that God hate SIN and He will not live in a body (temple) that is sinful. If you are a true child of God, He will discipline you when you mess up. It is written that He disciplines those He loves. Some of the trials and tribulations we pass through May be Gods way of cleaning His temple (our bodies). We must think wisely about the way we live our lives. Raw gold must go through the fire in order to be perfectly moulded into beautiful decorative objects. Lets look at how our Lord Jesus carried out His maintenance work in the physical temple at Jerusalem. This surely signifies how He maintains our bodies, the temple of the most high God and make it fit for divine indwelling. In John 2:13-16, we learn that The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple he found people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. Making a whip of cords, he drove all of them out of the temple, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. He told those who were selling the doves, “Take these things out of here! Stop making my Father’s house a marketplace!” Beloved! Heb 12:5-9 says, And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as children. “My child, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, or lose heart when you are punished by Him; for the Lord disciplines those whom he loves, and chastises every child whom he accepts.” Endure trials for the sake of discipline. God is treating you as children; for what child is there whom a parent does not discipline? If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children. Moreover, we had human parents to discipline us, and we respected them. Should we not be even more willing to be subject to the Father of spirits and live? May God clear out every sinful clutter from our bodies (His temple) and prepare it for His dwelling through Christ our Lord and Saviour Jesus. Amen! Christ in you, the hope of glory! Jesus and I love you very much!!💝💛❤ HAPPY THURSDAY IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
