Beloved Revolutionaries As a radical, leftist, anti-capitalist movement with an internationalist outlook, a vanguard of community and workers’ struggles. I want to believe that when we gathered in Soweto from the 26th – 27th July, Our decision was to fight for the economic emancipation of the people of South Africa and other related issues affecting our society, such as lack of jobs, landless generation, etc. We then said we should have a mass movement to be called ECONOMIC FREEDOM FIGHTERS which will be a Political organization styled as a Political Party which will seek to act in the interests of all South Africans striving for ECONOMIC EMANCIPATION IN OUR LIFE TIME. We saw a need to associate ourselves with the anti-capitalist, and anti-imperialist in our global outlook and we will be driven by sound democratic socialist values and we subscribe to democratic centralism as a political principle which takes socialism as the theoretical basis guiding its thinking and development of its political line and in this respect identifies itself as a MARXIST, LENINIST, and FANONIAN school of thought. As such, all Lenin students shall comply with the provisions of Movement Constitution as well as with the Aims, Objectives, Principles and Policies that be. Lenin theoretical and basic principles of his school of thought are based on democratic centralism which is the name given to the principles of internal organization used by Leninist political parties, and the term is sometimes used as a synonym for any Leninist policy inside a political party. The democratic aspect of this organizational method describes the freedom of members of the political party to discuss and debate matters of policy and direction, but once the decision of the party is made by majority vote, all members are expected to uphold that decision. This latter aspect represents the centralism. As Lenin described it, democratic centralism consisted of freedom of discussion, unity of action.” Democratic centralism is generally viewed as a set of principles for the organizing of a revolutionary Movement. The EFF state of affairs are organized and functions on the basic principle of democratic centralism, namely the electiveness of all bodies of the Movement from the bottom to the upper structures, their accountability to the people, and the obligation of branches to observe the decisions of upper structures. Democratic centralism combines central leadership with the responsibility of each structure for the work entrusted to them. However, each member is to observe and resort to the Policies, Resolutions, Decisions of the Central leadership and the Rules and Regulations of the Movement, moreover each member, individual or group within should conduct herself / himself honestly and honourably in dealing with the Movement and not to bring the Movement into disrepute or ridicule it in any way that seeks to undermine and discredit the Movement and its Constitution. -Noble Son Mosele
