Beloved, we were awakened this morning with this on our mind, The heart of the contrite soul has within it the prayer of Jesus: "Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy upon me a sinner". The soul that is proud does not have this prayer within it; but, it always seems to seek to blame others for its trials and problems, seeking only to shift the blame from the overly active ego centric nature it possesses; thus, always playing the "eternal victim", never the one responsible for even a part of its problems. O, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy upon this sinner who every day needs you Mercy. abba anthony the sinner
