Below are photographs from the recent incident where Gosport Lifeboat rescued two man overboard casualties after their vessel began to sink. The first photo shows GAFIRS Lifeboat Crew alongside both casualties who are wearing the lifejackets which most likely saved their lives. If you didnt see our initial report you can read it below: MAYDAY - 15ft fishing vessel capsized off Gillkicker, with two occupants holding onto a upturned hull. Mayday called in by another passing fishing boat. New Gosport ILB afloat on crew training, proceeded to scene and Gosport Lifeboat launched and on scene in minutes. The two casualties were recovered into Gosport Lifeboat and transferred to GAFIRS HQ, where they were treated for mild hypothermia. The upturned vessel was then righted and towed to our Lifeboat station, where it was recovered to the beach and later towed away by the owners. Incident 88 of 2014
