Book 2 "Good Agents, Deadly Circumstances" Below is the Preview: “You listen to me you son-of-a..……” Yuri began as he stood up from the table, but was interrupted mid-sentence. “Gentlemen. How nice to see you all here.” Deputy Director Moore said as he gave a dead stare straight at Nicolai. He could tell both Nicolai and Yuri’s security teams were on edge and ready to act with the situation that had started to unfold. Nicolai and Yuri nodded at Moore and then resumed starring at each other. The hate between the two was intense and always had been. Director Moore glanced around the room to see if anyone else was taking notice of the scene, which no one had seemed to yet. Clearing his throat the conversation continued. “I was just expressing to Yuri my concern about the safety of his daughter on her impending trip. Speaking of daughters, I heard you just lost your own daughter not too long ago? Such a tragedy, my condolences Deputy Director.” Nicolai looked at Director Moore with a smug smirk on his face. Yuri didn’t take his eyes off Nicolai. “Yes, thank you Nicolai. I understand one of your closest friends is still missing. Boris Andelco wasn’t it? Have you found him yet?” Moore stated nonchalantly holding Nicolai’s stare. Yuri took his eyes off of Nicolai for the first time during the discussion and glanced at Moore, a little shocked at his terseness. Without taking his gaze off of Moore Nicolai, obviously annoyed with the way the conversation had turned stated, “Well gentlemen. I must be going. I need to speak with the Vice-President about some upcoming business. Please have a wonderful evening.” Nicolai smiled curtly only as to not show his true feelings, and walked as casually as he could to the Vice-President’s table. Moore and Yuri watched as he and his bodyguard’s left. Moore knew he had struck a nerve and would gladly do it again.
