Below is the post from FB today concerning John Edwards graduation and Turning Blue. His roster number is 110. Thanks for the continued prayers and positive thoughts. We will see him and he will graduate in 2 weeks. Army Strong There was a link provided for a short period that allowed you to apply for a pass via the internet. This post was pulled due to the system being inundated with requests. To attend the Turning Blue ceremony you can access Ft. Benning via the Sandhill gate. Provide the security guard the roster number and name of the soldier you are here to see graduate, everyone 18 years of age or older will be required to provide a valid photo ID issued by a State or Federal government, have current insurance and registration information available, and you be subject to a random vehicle search. There will be a member of Cadre at the gate to eleviate any access issues. There is no documentation or special process to adhere to in order to attend the Graduation ceremony. The location is not considered on base, therefore; you may just drive to the National Infantry Museum field and will have no access issues. Please remember that there is a Family briefing in the Fox Company classroom at 0900 Thursday. This briefing will explain very useful information for Family Day pass. I hope this will answer all your questions. This process is as simple as it sounds. The line will be long I suggest allowing 30 minutes to an hour to gain access to the base.
