Its very important to understand a cover letter or resume dont get you a job. They are merely an opportunity to become a blip on someones radar screen. An opportunity to differentiate yourself from the masses. An opportunity for an interview. Candor and relevance can be your biggest asset when you have ZERO experience. Whaaaaaaa? Yes, its true. Have fun with the fact you are a newbie. A newbie with guts, intelligence and desire to succeed. They know a good prospect when they see one. They were young once too. Go tear it up. man. I would like to learn more about your company and industry. I have zero industry experience. This will be my first “real job.” I’m a very good student. I’m respectful and I have integrity. I’ve always been a hard worker who achieves my objectives. My past bosses really like me. I’m eager to learn new things. I’ll clean toilets. I make great coffee. I work well in team environments.
