Below will be the hours and activities offered during Regents Week (January 27th to January 31st). Monday 1/27: Post English Regents Chill Out. Come to the center after you finish your English Regents. Relax and enjoy some treats. We will close at 6 pm. You are welcome even if you did not take the English Regents. Tuesday 1/28: SAT Prep will be at the regular time, 6 pm to 8 pm. We will be opening that day at 1 pm if you need to study, do your SAT homework or use the computer for school. Wednesday 1/29: Community Service at NY Common Pantry from 11:30 am to 3 pm. Mentoring will be at its normal time, 6 pm to 8 pm. Thursday 1/30: Community Service at IHDFs East Harlem Program from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. We will be opening that day at 1 pm if you need to study, do your homework or use the computer for school. Friday 1/31: Career Day 9:30 am meet at DeHostos. In the morning we will travel to visit a lawyer at an advertising firm. In the afternoon we will travel to Gabrielas to see how a restaurant works. The day will be over by 5 pm. Saturday 2/1 : College Summit at The New School. You must attend this event to be eligible to go on our overnight college trip in February. You must also have taken the SAT or be enrolled in an SAT prep class (either ours or an outside class). Monday 2/3: DeHostos will be closed.
