Ben is far behind the divide at this point in time, but his message is the truth. When you are riding in your car alone at night and see blue lights behind you, what is it that you feel; is it safety, intimidated or fear? This is definitely not the way I want to respond to the men coating themselves in blue and this should be for all individuals, not just those reserving their gentile treatment by being a cop or knowing them personally. Good and bad, in both isles, exist. Therefore if the police feel anxiety, fear and act out in order to protect themselves, then so will I; this is common sense. Treat me with dignity and I will return your kindness with kindness. This is the golden rule-a balance that exists and a law within nature. No legislator can overturn or circumvent what is compatibly physics. That is what these riot police do not stop and think about, nor do the angry riotors who only feed the beast its nourishment to grow. Above all, any person or group of people can find justification for anything; why they are righteous and another may be unjustifiably in the wrong. The same can be said if the tables were to be turned counterclockwise, 180. It is truly the lack of knowledge which separates us and divides us all. Those who fight for the right to learn begin to see the organisation within the chaos. Its lime spending an afternoon cleaning a trashed room and finding that long lost precious item-it gives clarity. Only for those who seek it or clean that room.
