Bench warrant leads to Saratoga Count man ‘s trip to Massena courtroom WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2013 ARTICLE OPTIONS A A print this article e-mail this article BENCH WARRANT - LOUISVILLE - A Saratoga County man’s complaint about a neighbor ended badly when state troopers responding to John W. Cruickshank’s residence at 9 Holly Folly Lane in Malta discovered a bench warrant for failure to pay fine had been signed May 28 by Louisville Town Clerk Michael J. Lecuyer. Cruickshank, 49, was fined $250 fine and a $205 surcharge following his conviction on a third-degree criminal trespass count in Louisville Town Court. A second-degree criminal contempt charge was dismissed as part of the plea bargain agreement. Cruickshank was transported from Saratoga County to Massena Town Court, arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and released after paying the $455 he owed for his fine and surcharge.
