Benefit Dinner: Many of you know Diane Schostak, longtime Forks resident, former director of the Forks Chamber, retired executive director of the Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau and retired leader of the Olympic Peninsula Tourism Commission. As you probably know, Diane has been dealing with some serious health challenges, which precipitated her early retirement. To help with expenses, there is a benefit dinner planned on Friday, January 16th, 6-8 pm at Lake Crescent Lodge. The lodge itself is closed for the season, but is providing the venue only for this private event on January 16th for the community-catered dinner. Music provided by Loose Gravel. Tickets are a suggested donation of $40 per person. Additionally, a silent auction will be held. Questions and RSVPs to Mike Rainey at mike.rainey@makah If you are unable to attend, but would like to contribute, you can make a donation to the “Diane Schostak Benefit Account” at any First Federal bank branch. peninsuladailynews/article/20150108/NEWS/301089980/diane-schostak-benefit-planned-jan-16
