Bennie walked into the house this afternoon and said, You have something. He handed me a mailing envelope with the return address for Sylvia Jo McKaig.....I was like, OH thats Sylvia Arnold McKaig....As I opened it a beautiful small book came out that I cant wait to read. When Someone you LOVE No Longer Remembers. The note she penned was so sweet. Sylvia and I worshipped together at Houston Lake Baptist Church years ago. We sang in the Choir and also sang in a Ladies Ensemble along with Betty Lou Dabbs, Stephanie McMillian, Della Alcorn, Annette Tucker, Phyllis Chancey, Deborah Rogers....many hours were spent with this precious woman of God in prayer, practicing singing our parts, Bible study, laughing, sharing meals together, and tears. We have walked many of my lifes journey together. Although, we now are separated by miles and miles, her beautiful act of love brought tears to my eyes. I am so blessed. Blessed because people continue to reach out and encourage me while watching my Mamas failing health due to Alzheimers. But oh, Sylvia Jo, please accept this as a hug spoken in words. If you were here, I would be in your arms crying and laughing and talking about old times spent together. There is a silver lining to getting older..the precious Saints that have been in your life and know where you have been. No words are necessary for those kind of people.....Thank you, my friend. How much I do love you still all these years later!!!!! Please, please call when you are here visiting Hank, Dale, or April.....I sure would love to get together. May God richly pour out His favor for your act of kindness.....you bought the book, found my address, wrote the note, went to the post office......it would have been easy just to stop at any part of that process but you didnt. You are a WROC!!! (Woman Reaching Our Community) Thank you!!!!!
