Bensons surgery was a huge success! And apart from the area they had to remove on the side of his face, they couldnt find any other sign of cancer! Benson will need ongoing treatment due to the malignant melanoma being in his system, but this is very positive news indeed! He is just in recovery atm and I will most likely be picking him up from Sydney tomorrow. Benson is my best mate and a great companion, but he is much more than that. Benson has worked alongside me for over a decade working with our most struggling youth in the prison system, behavioural schools, with kids in DOCS care and around 100 schools between Sydney and Newcastle. When it comes to engaging the youth, Benson is a consummate professional and is very much loved by literally thousands of children and young people. My world got a whole heap brighter and something really shifted inside me after all the support we received. Thanks so much!!
