Forget yourself. Stop trying to establish your identity, and turn your eyes upon Him alone. "Who I am in Christ" is another psychological term that comes from currently popular selfisms. It is not found in the Bible. You are nothing. He is everything. "He must increase, but I must decrease," said John the Baptist. John was not suffering from an identity crisis. This idea comes from humanistic psychology, and not from the Bible, and it is tragic that Christians would fall for it. "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith." Philippians 3:9
